Current beer promotions

The end of days are near, soon we will only be able to drink alone at home or in remote countryside bars. Let's enjoy life as we know it while we can. Two recent beer promotions in the Nimmanhamin area are:

Blar Blar: Last Sunday they had three large Chang for 130 baht. Lots of pretties, but they were somewhat outclassed by even prettier customers. I normally have good things to say about the food there, but last Sunday was disappointing--not terrible but not up to their usual standards. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Dayli: Last night they had three large Leo's for 139 baht. A little more expensive than Blar Blar, but I like Leo more than Chang. Not too many pretties, in fact our waitress was a katooey built like a medium size rugby player, but lots of pretty customers, and I was there with one other man and four young ladies, so the rugby player waitress didn't bother me. The food was very good.

Sorry, only two updates for the past week. I don't go out as much as I used to. I'm sure there are other interesting promotions around, would anyone care to share them here?

Unfortunately, there is a huge backlog of old ones, and it appears Dayli is participating in their liquidation. Mine were born on 24 April, which means they are 90 days old, and have been through at least 5 heatwaves. There is almost no cold ones, so you just have to put them in your ice bucket....generally a good place. I noticed Tesco had a mountain of old ones, too. Two weeks is pretty fair, and less than 30 days is acceptable. I did a few Heinekens that were born in July. If they want a tip; it has to be cold and fresh, period. I did notice they had more customers than 3 or 4 other more trendy (expensive) bars in the area, combined.
