Best MTB in town

Featured Replies

Looking to purchase a new full suspension MTB soon and curious if any shops will let you demo a bike.

Alternatively, which bike rental outfit has the most current stable of bikes?

I've got my eye on the Giant Anthem SX or Specialized Epic or maybe a Santa Cruz Tallboy or...

Looks like from those rides your into XC which is great in these parts.

Demo a new bike is a hard find but maybe see if you can find a used one for sale for a try.

Not sure what you mean by "Best MTB in town" but a big issue will be find the a bike you want, so it might be carried at any one of quite a few shops in town or you might have to order.

I went to BKK to buy mine as I couldn't find what I wanted here and see what I was getting first. Anyway I find it always better to cash and carry here, less room for problems.

When you get your kit get in touch if you want any single track suggestions or want to ride.

I guess what I meant by "best MTB" was that if I were to go with one of the MTB tour co's (since a demo day might be a hard sell), which outfit has the best stable of bikes? Probably none have anything close to what I'm looking for, huh?

I heard that Velocity just got a Stumpy Hardtail for demo.

As a local with a my own bikes don't know much about touring companies but I have rented a good Kona DH for the day from a company that only does tours.

Go check them out to see what they have and it never hurts to ask if you can rent or just test ride.

Why would anyone want a ''Motor Torpedo Boat '' in Chiang Mai ?.....Lol.
