Hi, is anyone able to put me into contact with someone able to help me sort out my UK tax return--it will need someone with sound knowledge on the UK tax rules and regs / can do and cant do.

Hi I'm self employed and work out of the UK.

I've used this company in particular for over 10 years.

Although local to where I originally come from I'm sure they will be able to assist you as I've just done my tax return for last year and sent everything via email due to my being offshore.

Not if you are non resident you can't, unless you buy proprietary software.

You can down load tax forms from the internet and HMRC normally post a tax return to your overseas address if you normally complete one.

You will need a Unique Tax Reference number (UTR) if you want to complete your tax return on line.

Was in a similar position about 3 years ago - with new pension being taxed at source. Was told, in order to get paid gross, I would have to fill-in a Tax Return...panic!

Eventually found someone in Bangkok - Uk tax consultant - who did a great job for me. Since then, am doing these returns myself (online) every 12 months-or-so.
