Recommended Eye Specialist

Featured Replies

Can someone please recommend an Eye Specialist (Ophthalmologist) for a routine eye checkup in Bangkok area?

Can this type of tests be done in a Government hospital ?

Thank you.

There is a dedicated government eye hospital, rutnin which is excellent http://www.rutnin.com/eng/

Asoke area

While excellent they seem to have adopted a two tier pricing schedule so fees for foreign patients are similiar to at a private hospital now. Though a simple check up can't run to too much.

If cost is a big factor there is also a government eye, ear nose and throat hospital in Thonburi near Pinklao which gets few farang so AFAIK hasn't set up two tier pricing http://www.eent.co.th/table_ent.html
