I will never go. The prices are going to be like everything else in LOS (Land Of Scams) these days...ASTRONOMICAL. I've seen other threads here complaining about high prices. Just wait till you get a load of Hooters prices. Your head will EXPLODE...and unfortunately NOT the little one!

Was in the neighborhood today, so stopped by the future BKK Hooters location on Suk Soi 15, and it looks like they're relatively on target for the promised mid-September opening. It is, BTW, exactly the same space as the late departed BeerVault pub, which I liked quite a lot.

Meanwhile, sure seems like a lot of unwarranted negativity here for a place that hasn't even opened yet. Not to mention a lot of physical stereotyping of Thai women.

As far as I'm concerned, I have no objection to either of the two main kinds of things they'll have on offer (photos from their Phuket location):

Take your pick. Enjoy one, or the other, or both!

Honestly I can't see me ever going in this place based simply on those wings prices!!

I just read the qualifications to apply for a Hooters Girl on the Asia website -- ages 19 - 29 so luckily for me the TGF is 32 as she has all the necessary hardware to get a Hooters Girl job in the USA let alone here in Thailand.

If she likes to try the job let her go.

The official age limit, TIT, this is Thailand not a big thing to get that in order if the looks are and other "numbers" are right.

This is just a guess but maybe the Hooter's people are using professional models as in the girl on the right who may be the one in this ad:

I can't say what the various Hooters girls from Phuket were doing BEFORE Hooters opened there.

But from looking at Hooters Phuket Facebook and Instagram pages, it's pretty clear the photo of the waitress I posted above is someone who's actually working there, and getting a lot of positive comments from customers there who mention her by name.

Same thing with the main girl on the front of their promo flyer for BKK.

The girl on the back side of their flyer, I don't know who that is, and have never seen any photo of her in connection with the Phuket restaurant.

I have no idea who is who, just that when I saw the photo on the previous page my first thought was "I've seen that girl before" right or wrong. However it would not be unusual for any company to get professional models for their ads as they have lots more experience before the camera.

They send over trainers from the Flipperpines so you can bet they are as annoying and with that stupid accent as well..... sirrrrr
