Trump proposals risk deepening GOP rift on immigration

Back on topic, Trump is right about the illegal immigrants.

Have you ever thought of solving the problem by going at the SOURCE? aka the people wanting to hire illegals.

We are way ahead of you. You really have never heard of E-verify?

So? There is a system to prevent illegals from entering/staying in country and there is a system to prevent them from working legally. Both seem to be ineffective, so Jake Sully's remark is very legitimate and your remark shifts the blame back to the illegals but does nothing to address his question.

And the first thing Trump wants to do is make e-verify unconstitutional since it would cost him more money to hire Americans to do jobs. If you have any doubt of this, look at his construction workers.. all illegal aliens.

Actions speak louder than words.. and its time to face up.. the Trump mania is limited to people who are naive and will be had. You can't get rid of illegal aliens by someone who willfully employs them to make himself a bigger billionaire.

Please provide some CREDIBLE evidence of your claim. Frankly, I don't believe you have any.

For starters this, http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/they-say-they-arrived-in-the-us-illegally-now-theyre-working-on-trumps-dc-hotel/2015/07/06/9a785116-20ec-11e5-84d5-eb37ee8eaa61_story.html. More general info here, http://www.markupandprofit.com/blog/undocumented-illegal-workers-construction.

Now if you believe Trump would only hire legal workers while his competition is not, you're living in lala land..

Ah, but you're forgetting..

It's not Trump hiring illegals. It's a Corporation. Which is a separate "person" for legal purposes, exonerating real people from just about anything they do that's illegal...

Ah, same as with defaulting you mean. Got it.

For starters this

In other words, you have NO evidence - what-so-ever - that Trump intends to make E-Verify "unconstitutional". Unsubstantiated conspiracy theories don't count. whistling.gif

It was not me but somebody else you asked that question.

And that person made 2 claims, one of which was: "look at his construction workers.. all illegal aliens.". I submitted proof for that claim. If that was not the claim you meant, please post more specific next time.

But it is clear that Trump is using illegal workers for his businesses.

YOU answered it and you have no evidence either. Using illegal workers in the past does not mean that he is not willing to give them up - along with all his competitors - and it is certainly not proof that that Trump intends to make E-Verify "unconstitutional".

So, that was not the claim. The claim is: "look at his construction workers.. all illegal aliens.". Now 'all' I'm sure is over done, but a substantial part, yes.

Now, please refrain from quoting part of posts but quote posts in full.

Nope. The second claim is an attempt to back the first claim up, but it DOESN'T. It is in no way proof that Trump intends to make E-Verify "unconstitutional". it is conspiracy theory stuff.

UG:

Clearly the progressive liberals know nothing.

They never heard of E-Verify before you posted it and the claim that Trump is trying to make it unconstitutional is absurd on its face. Only the Supreme Court can declare with finality that an act is unconstitutional. Unless he is under consideration for an appointment, then his alleged attempt to make anything unconstitutional is ridiculous.

To look further at the situation, these alleged illegal immigrants aren't his workers at all. They are employees of the construction company that has been contracted by Trump to perform the modifications on the Post office.

If that makes Trump guilty of hiring illegals, then my guess is most of the construction work being performed and paid for by the US government is also illegal.

All these illegal immigrants didn't move to the DC area to work for one relatively small construction job Trump had planned. They are there to get the gravy being handed out by the federal government in the form of construction contracts.
