Immigration record of Wanna Suansan leaving Thailand on July 1, more than six weeks before the 17 Aug. bombing of the Erawan Shrine.

BANGKOK — A woman sought in connection with the bombing of the Erawan Shrine earlier this month left Thailand nearly two months before the attack.

According to immigration records obtained by Khaosod English, Wanna Suansan departed Thailand from Phuket Airport on 1 July on Etihad Airlines flight No. EY0431 bound for Abu Dhabi with her husband and infant child.

A warrant for Wanna's arrest was issued yesterday in connection to the 17 Aug. bombing after an apartment rented in her name was raided in Min Buri district, where a cache of bomb-making materials were found.

Her husband is believed to be a Turkish national, and this afternoon a court issued warrants for the arrest of three Turkish men wanted in connection with the attack.

Two questions

She had no idea illegal activity was taking place in her apartment?

When did she plan to come back?

If she was not there, she may have been unaware of what was taking place in her apartment.

If her marriage is a good one, she may have no fixed plans for her next visit to Thailand.

Something smells of either CIA/FBI and/or MI6 helping the buffoons in brown here.

Too much progress too fast.

Otherwise the BIB would all still be bumping into each other, trying to tuck their shirts in and looking for their hats.

Hasn't she claimed her innocence and is willing to come back to prove it? (if the authorities pay for her ticket of course)

It's a brave woman who would risk coming back if innocent to risk being stitched up. If guilty no way would she ever return.

When do you admit a spade is a spade?

After the shed burns down? After all the sheds burn down. I think some very get tough laws should be put into effect. Just no more visas to people that meet a profile.

Maybe not forever. Just unti the message gets out in a few years.

These policemen from Sa Keow should be locked up for 10 years as well.
