Mine was New Year's Eve 2001-2002. She drank about 4 Spy wine coolers. I drank about half the beer in the bar plus numerous shots of Jack Daniels.

She puked in the taxi on the way home & passed out. Luckily I had a plastic bag & no mess in the taxi, though the driver was FREAKING OUT.

She's 99 lbs & 4' 11".

I'm a mere 5' 10" & 170 lbs. but I carried her like I'd carry a kid on my hip thru the lobby of our apt. building, gently spilled her into the elevator & got her out on the 14th floor & put her to bed on her side w/ a bucket nearby.

I slept on the couch.

I woke up at about 0800 hrs & decided to go shopping, so took my Kawasaki Boss to the Carrefour on Ratchadapisek Road from Lad Phrao.

No better cure for a hangover & NOTHING can put you back on HIGH ALERT than driving a bike in BKK!

Anyhow, it had a cargo box on the back so I bought lots of ribs, prawns etc, etc for the BBQ on the balcony & happened to spot a Spy wine cooler that had her name written all over it.

Got home about 1000 hrs & she was STARVING, on the couch, looking like death warmed over & I started pulling food out. Her eyes were all lit up.

"I pulled the Spy out last & said, "Oh! This is for YOU!!!"

She did a runner for the toilet.

Mine doesn't drink either.

However, when she first moved to Australia I came home from work to find her legless. She had misread the label on a bottle of cough mixture and drank two bottles in as many hours.

2 Spies and she's sleepy

Mine basically doesn't drink.....Over the 4-5 New Years holiday - maybe 4-6 Spies opened in that time.....

No other times during the year except if we go to Ayutthaya there is one hotel with nice karaoke rooms.....She will have most of a Mai Tai then....

None of the family really drinks BIL will usually have a beer or two with meals.....

She's fun and laid back to begin with - booze knocks her out.....

Ahh you know I love ya Soutpeel.

It's 1:07 AM in Florida. My Dad always said "It's Gotta been noon somewhere".

Sounds like you are a firm believer in AA (Attitude Adjustment)..

---------------

Off topic but my 61 year old brother was/is has been a complete jerk since I was born. He quit drinking 30+ years ago (he's addicted to AA now).

The guy is STILL a complete jerk.

30 + YEARS & he still cannot get along with his family........& it is not just me he hates/derides despises.

I utterly despise the folks that don't like drinking & deride us drinkers & try to make a point of it.

-----------------

Don't drink if you don't want to, & if I've had 10 beers, that's my business, as long as I ain't driving.

Peace & love Dude.

My Gf drank once in her life in High School. Her and her friend killed a bottle of 100 pipers down to the last piper. Then from what I gather they turned the house into a Roman vomitorium.........At 30 still wont touch the stuff......Likes my Jack Daniels bbq Sauce I make with 3 or 4 times the amount of Jack the recipe calls for.

One of the more entertaining aspects of this forum is watching his post count go up and up and up. It's quite funny!

We were invited to a Hi-so reception at a good hotel in Pattaya. There was a free buffet/bar. I noticed my wife getting giggly & told her to eat. She did but washed it down with more wine. Eventually I had to usher her to the door. As soon as the fresh air hit her she lost her legs & fell down a flight of concrete stairs leading to the car park - pulling me with her! Luckily I landed on top. Two hi-so ladies helped me to my feet & ticked me off about drinking & driving. I'd had next to nothing as I was driving. My wife broke her hand in three places.

A lot of people don't agree with me, but I still believe that the majority of Thai 'good girls' don't drink.

And what's the drunkest she has ever seen you, and how often?

My missus is the only person in Phitsanulok who has ever seen me drunk. Truth.

However, 16 years ago before moving here (pre 01-May-1999) there were countless occasions. Nothing to be proud of but, IMO, where nobody got hurt during those occasions, I would not have missed one of them.

Mrs. Chrisinth used to be able to handle herself against anyone who were silly enough to under estimate her. Experience gained from two decades running bars. However, she has recently reached that funny age (55) and rarely drinks now.

I have seen her in 4-wheel drive (hands & knees) only a couple of times.

She once nicked a case of Thatcher's Katy from my private stores and guffed 5 bottles with her pal, who also had 5 bottles. I got home and she jumped up to greet me, fell over the dog, bounced off a wall went over the back of the sofa and didn't move for 12 hours...her pal was fine and me and her finished off the case and she walked home like she'd been drinking tea.....

Proud in a slighly sarcastic way mate. Well, more bemused.

But cheers for the concern.:D

An absolute bogus statement. Honestly how can you make that statement. Perhaps you can state the "majority of the ladies I come in contact with don't drink" Where I stay when theres a party even the "Good Girls" drink, the old ladies will even have a token shot when I pour for them.

It is not a statement, it is only an opinion.

I'll side with Possum on this.....

Depends on your definition of "drink"

......If drink means one or two during a holiday and photo ops - sure you can label them drinkers - but they really aren't → most good/normal fall here......If it is habitual/often with a pattern/trigger - yes they are drinkers......

Most I know here and US really don't - but guessing 30-40% of their husbands are lushes .. ...
