My wifes sister wants to come for a 2 week holiday , How long after submitting the application can she expect to get the Visa .

Did she submit application in bkk? In any event it will be under 10 days. That's even if she has the result posted out.

BTW did you provide letter of invitation and all the goodies.

Yes , supplied all the goodies , Only thing she is waiting on is a letter from her employer ( Thai Post ) saying she has 2 weeks holiday and has a job to come back to .

Trouble is she is still waiting for the Employers letter and she wants to come on Oct 19th .

We have written a letter saying she is coming to visit us for 12 days and we will suport her and show her around .

Does she have any other "compelling reason to return".

Many thai women obtain a visa and do not have a job.

Having said that, it would be nice if she did obtain the letter.

Even such things as possessions (bike etc) family ties.

Possibly a child etc.

Any indication when the letter from employer might be forthcoming? Does she have plane tickets?
