I would never buy a another box or pay for 12 months

subscriptions to anyone, over the years I have several

boxes, dishes that no longer work,I just stream from PC

to Tv via HDMI,use either ilikeHD,most I could loose

with them is 500 THB if I had just paid for the month

and they went tits up,I also use Kodi sometimes, and stream

movies and series (without adds) for free from several sites,

so every evening I have more than enough to choose from,

as you can only watch 1 channel at a time.

Thats exactly it.. How much do you actually want to watch ??

Any movie I think of.. Thats out on DVD.. I can get a torrent and its on my home net waiting.. With cover art, details etc..

Any TV show I have an interest in.. Same.. Plus I no longer like to watch TV if I cant binge watch it.. So I wait until any season is finished before I grab it..

Any sports.. Theres an acestream for live.. and most theres a torrent straight away after..

I have an app with 600 international IPTV channels.. For channel surfing.. Which I barely do anyway.. But its got bloomberg CNBC and a bunch of news channels.. Should anything major globally happen I can stay informed live..

None of that I have to pay for (sure its copyrighted.. Sue me).. So then the value of paid streaming systems drops a lot.. It just doesnt match my viewing pattern.

I did last year pay for GMMTV.. 5000b for the year of platinum package sat feed.. I did that purely for Fox sports for UFC in High definition.. and I do use that a couple of times a month.. But even then I am wondering if 5000b a year (peanuts really) is worth it for the few hours I use it..

Theres so many ways to access content.. But all in all.. I dont need to consume it on the network schedule any more..

,I just stream from PC

to Tv via HDMI

Chromecasts are really slick little tools for that..

...and they combine with popcorn time for super simple media use too..

Be honest! You have no $$$.

Eh !,

Apparently anyone who doesnt want to spend multi 1000 baht a month, on an outdated inconvenient broadcast system that doesnt cater to 'on demand' viewing is doing so because they are too cheap.. Even if its being viewed in 1000s of dollars worth projection cinema, over almost 10k usd of audio system controlled by touchscreens etc etc etc.. Its obviously a desire to economize rather than not wanting what they are selling.

Media consumption is changing fast.. Different people have different tastes in how they like to consume media.. Or priorities between film, TV, music, etc etc..Priorities between ease of use, speed, quality, etc etc.. The great thing is we have ever increasing options to use the systems we want.. Now with fiber speed levels I have solid reliable HD streams for the west.. I fully expect in a year or two 4k Ultra HD streaming will be the norm..

Plus you can watch the latest series, without the dreaded adds every 10-15 mins.to suggest that one has no money

to pay for a crap service like TRUE,is just loosing the plot.you should be ashamed of yourself,to make a remark like

that to people you don't know anything about,is honestly, very stupid.Terry.

Dear Customer!

The Maige TV service is experiencing serious problems since last week.

It’s being worked on, but it might take up until mid-october until the issue is completely solved. For some channels and locations it might happen sooner though.

We apologize for the problems, 45 days of subscription have been added to your account as compensation.

Khwaibah, can you tell me when Maige went down. I believe it was on 24 Sep, don't know time. Came back on not sure, 8 or 9 Oct. Thanks.

Dear Customer!

The Maige TV service is experiencing server problems. This affects the live channels, VOD content should work fine.

The factory is currently working on a permanent solution to prevent such issues in the future. Unfortunately this takes time. Current ETA for recovery is early December. For some channels and locations it might happen sooner though.

We understand your frustration and apologize for the problems. The current issue affects most of the Chinese IPTV providers and many of those probably won't survive it. Maige is a big enough service though and will recover once the necessary steps are taken.
Until then we kindly ask you for patience.

PS: this is an automatic reply. Due to the volume of emails we are unable to answer individually unfortunately. Should you have specific questions or issues not related to the current problem please reply to this email.

Kodi is great but there is a learning curve not everyone will savour, plus it can be hit and miss on streams.

As such doesn't hurt to attach an ext hd also attached to box to catalog and load up for times stream not working.

Personally prefer that way anyway.. Never get a buffer, always have meta data and cover art etc.. Works with my android tablet remote for browsing.. My 6TB drives nearly full on my RAID array, need to add another batch.

Hahaah this is what happens when thiefs sell stolen steams. Been happening a lot lately in the Kodi world. Maige TV is just another one of these thieves. Probably were using Stalker streams and sources LOL that didnt last long either.

Posted

But when you talk about stolen streams your using the wrong terms.. Copyright is not theft, hence why its defining the 'rights to copy'.. Secondly parts of the world are not subject to our version of western copyright laws, thats how allofMp3 could be both 100% legal, and not paying the western copyright owners, as Russia had a different copyright law.

That said.. I agree those are unauthorized copyright streams. You gets what you pays for. Much like when Phuket cable TV you would be watching a movie and halfway through it would go "insert disc 2" as the VCD had run out !!

It's now Dec. 3, 2015, and as far as I now Maige tv is still not up and running from Sept. I don't know because my subscription just ran out having been extended for 45 extra days courtesy of Maige due to their "server problems". So can anyone update me on the current status of Maige tv? They report that VOD continues to work fine but I found that it worked sometimes with various problems most of the time. I don't plan to renew my subscription until and unless I find that Maige is up and running as well as it used to or better. Any predictions?

If they have been down 3 months, what do you actually think? Not being argumentative but, that speaks more than words. Dont even think about resubscribing. Server problem is a total BS excuse period. A server is nothing but a computer. And its up (or maybe not if they are using movie streams from other sources is stolen from other servers). Take you matter of a day to purchase a new server and maybe a week tops to reconfigure it. They are BSing customers in the worst way stringing you along all the while proving you NOTHING. Kodi and tvmc addon is free. Sorry about your troubles but we all make mistakes, live and learn

Posted

Yeah I dont get it.. its been explained these are pirate resellers.. When they go, just use another.. Theres so many out there..

IPTV is the new sat hacking.. Get used to shifting services if you dont want to pay a legit one and still need to consume 'TV' in that format.

Maige is finished it seems. Is that everybody's else experience that has the box?

lamush, have not heard anything up to this point, so what other conclusion is there. I just got an Android box and trying to figure it out.

I promised myself quite a while ago NEVER to buy another box,

or dish, over the years have wasted money on systems that just

did not last, now I just stream everything I need for free, from my

PC,there is tons of stuff out there, and you can only watch one

channel at a time,so for me there is always something to watch,

I do sometimes use ilikeHD,but the most you could loose is 500THB,

I have KODI installed, but its a bit hit and miss sometimes, but I get

to watch all the latest series,(without adds) movies,Documentaries,

BBCiplayer,ITVplayer,UKTV,News, only thing that is not readily

available is live sport(except ilikeHD,but as the Toon are playing

like <deleted> ,nothing missed.
