Britsh, 37 years old, Phuket. "I" have a limited Thai company here, all in order.

After the Liverpool consulate told me the UK no longer issues multiple entry non-immigrant B visas (1 year validity), I'm going to try and get the next one in Malaysia in mid-May. Can anyone advise me:

1. Penang or KL? Is one easier than the other?

2. How many days does it take?

3. How much these days? Ringits or baht?

4. Any surprise requests re. paperwork?

Thanks

Penang seems to be the better option. Provide a decent company letter asking for a multi due to your need to travel extensively in the region while awaiting the work permit and extension. In one day before lunch, collect after lunch the next day. Do a search on Thaivisa about visa trips to Penang. There's a lot of detailed information from those with first hand experience.
