Pheu Thai demands govt's apology to public over single gateway policy

Interesting the comments from Pheu Thai.

Looks similar to this

"BANGKOK—Global companies are growing increasingly worried that Thailand's recent clampdown on Internet traffic might drag down the country's economic potential and make it more difficult to expand here."

Mind you that's from 16-09-2011 http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424053111903532804576568534267649452

Anyone who can't see this as a further, and more sinister method of controlling the population, with a greater suppression of information. Whilst ramping up the propaganda to support their actions, really do need to give themselves a good hard shake.

Do you honestly want the Junta to have unfettered access to your private emails ? Whether the contents are about business or pleasure.

The country is heading into darker and deeper waters, and the kool aid is rotting some brain cells.!!!

Oh Gawd! Shush PTP! If you indicate you don't like it, it will definitely be imposed. Best to just shut up and let us farang and interested Thai businesses, to whinge. That way the powers that be will find a face-saving way of reversing the silly decision, but now you've opened your mouth, there can be no face-saving way to reverse it.

The Thais need to wake up. The pm and the group he represents are not giving up power, they intend on staying in power for a very long time. There is no reason to establish mass surveillance of the country with an expensive system spanning years to implement if they were going to give up power in a few years.

By the way the pm bought intrusive surveillance software last year for $340 million. No one actually believes the pm isn't using it now?
