I would like to buy a motorcycle lift in the Bangkok area. I can find nothing in Home Pro or similar outlets in the Rangsit area

the lift pictured extends from 9cm to 50cm my bike has no centre stand, an original part will cost 13000 Baht

So I am looking for something a lot cheaper

papa bought one for my dirt bike last week.

It extends up 50 cm as well.

2500baht.

I think she said she can get more and can mail deliver.

Also bought a decent paddock stand for 1000baht at a Pattaya shop.

BKK must offer same.

Please tell the pattaya shop name and location for paddock stand, I am looking for one but they want 3000 at Kawasaki shop on sukumvit. Thanks

Why do you require this type of lift?

A paddock stand won't suffice?

You need two paddock stands, a single lift is cheaper.

How much does an appropriate lift cost?

I don't know how much they cost locally, I haven't managed to find one. Amazon and eBay UK about £50, but it weighs 13 KG and there would be import tax, so if I can find one locally it would be much better

Right. 50 seems very reasonable.

I'll check ebay.

A pair of paddock stands, ~4K.

(+)The much bigger base of support of paddock stands

affords a much more stable configuration.

(-) I feel like the dirt bike is quite susceptible to tippage when it's up on center lift.

(+)It does lift it a lot higher though...

(-) farther to fall.

They sell these car jacks here for 500baht.

So you saved half that by hand-carrying one.

Good exercise.

How are these used to support a bike?
