The guard of my shop told me that a farang who is well known for shoplifting daily from neighborhood shops got caught last night stealing some beer and had to be held down by four men until the police arrived. He was threatening to find them and kill them the whole time.

When the police arrived, they let him go because they said that he was a "tourist".

No wonder some Thai people are not so friendly to foreigners any more.

Sounds like one of the many who will be affected by the New Visa Rules that come into force tomrrow, if he is indeed a tourist.

I think that the New Rules are designed to get shot of tossers like these, so that can only be a good thing
