Personally I think the guys riding in that video are a bit reckless. Thailand's roads aren't built for that kind of speed and most of these riders probably don't know how to ride the 'Thai' way. I certainly would not like to ride with hoons like that.

Ghostrider there are many different kinds of guys to ride with you should join the ones you feel comfortable with; however most likely you won't find them here as this forum was taken over by the sexpat scooter fraction. So maybe in the end these guys in the video are the right kind to join; who knows.

Back on topic. To the OP; as you can probably tell, there are a lot of id**ts on this forum. Most of them probably don't even ride so if I were you, I would just ignore them, especially for hijacking the thread. You will undoubtedly encounter a few more who have not shown up here yet but you will know them soon enough.

As I mentioned earlier, there are quite a lot of riding groups in and around Bkk. Those guys in the videos, they might not be suitable for you at this stage as I gather that you're relatively inexperienced in Thai traffic. To ride fast here, it is not sufficient to be a good rider yourself, you must also be experienced in how other (Thai) road users behave and react.

First of all, get yourself a bike. Head over the FB and look for some riding groups such as expat bikers etc. From there, you will be able to organiser some rides or join some organised rides. Most important of all, stay within your comfort zone for now.

Thanks gweiloman, yes i do rcognize many strange people here. I will check out some groups and yes i need to get used to the traffic here. About the bike i just saw this on sale and its really tempting i know maybe a bit too much to start too but i think i can't resist. Will be alright as i am a expierienced rider right?
