Which Pantomime?

Taking my Thai wife to the UK over the Christmas period and want to take her to a pantomime while we are there. She can laugh all day at the Thai comedy panto style humor and I think she will appreciate been able to compare the Pantomime with Thai custard pie/slapstick type humor. She told me that Pantomimes are for children and with a big smile I told her yes. Can anyone recommend a Pantomime that would be similar to Thai humor? Not sure if the Pantomimes will have all the special sound effects you get with Thai comedy. Thanks in advance.

There's always the strangers gallery at the House of Parliament. But seriously, if you're anywhere in the Midlands then Nottingham Playhouse always have a good panto.

Take her to Leicester to see snow white and the 7 friends at the De Montfort hall. The PC idiots are not using 7 dwarves as it might offend short people. In many ways the UK is more idiotic than Thailand.

About 5 years back I took the wife and kids to the panto in Glasgow, Pinocchio was on at the time, wife and kids loved it, to add to the night everyone was evacuated into the street near the end of the show due to a fire alarm, which allowed us the opportunity to get photos of the kids together with each of the stars of the show who were mingling with the crowds whilst waiting outside for the all clear to return inside again to resume the show.

We all enjoyed the night but if no kids involved both the wife and I would probably rather opt for a live showing of mrs browns boys as an alternative to the panto
