Privacy/UV window film

Have a new house and wanted to put some film on the windows for privacy and to help reduce heat. There was a place a CDC that used to sell some, but it seems as though they are no longer there. Can anyone recommend a place to get them in Bangkok?

Suspect any auto supply store would have access - that is where it is normally used.

Find use in home very depressing, to say the least. But perhaps if you come from Western Europe it would just be another rainy day as usual feeling.

Places that mfg UPVC and/or Al windows probably have it (there must be 100's in BKK). But, what's wrong with curtains?
