Size 56 Road Bike

Featured Replies

We spend the winter months in Thailand and I am not excited about going, once again, for six months without getting on a road bike. That makes for a more challenging ramp up once we return to the US.

I have begun looking for a decent road bike and trainer combination in that I like to do many harder rides on my trainer. The first bike shop I visited had a low end size 53 Bianchi that would meet my needs.

My problem is the size. I ride a size 56 road bike in the states. The owner told me that the largest size that can be purchased in Thailand is this 53.

Was he telling me the truth?

Have Trek 1.1 56cm in stock for 14,500bht.

I bought one last month.

If you aren't in BK, they do next day EMS delivery for an extra 700bht.

So man telling porkies!

Velocity in CM selling Specialized brand road bikes,

Had 52,54,56 & 58cm road bikes in stock at their shop last month, 22,000bht.

Are we talking about bikes without an engine??

The horror!

Yes, am I posting in the wrong forum?

Tell him he's a lazy <deleted> for not ordering what you want and show him this pic of the Bianchi frame I recently ordered in Kanchanaburi. 57cm and available in the shop.
