Hi all,

I have tried to search the web for the answer on the topic, but can't find any good answers.

The only thing I found was one forum that said it will be available in December, but no date or confirmation on that.

As to asking the mobile shops, the answer from them has been "Don't know"

Does anybody know?

My Lumia 920 is getting "tired", and is up for replacement.... wink.png

Only hint I found was "November 2015" on a footnote of a Thai website.

Countless (test)reports on Thai websites found but no shop/price.

Seems a little overdue, maybe for Christmas tongue.png

If anyone buys a new 950 post your thoughts. I was so close to getting one to replace my 735 but opted on a G6 Edge instead. Not as straightforward as a WP but probably a more professional work tool moving forward.

My Lumia 920 had problem with the microphone in the end (after 3 years in my service). People complained that they could not hear me.

So I had to buy a new phone before the Lumia 950 arrived.

Went on and bought a Samsung Note 5.

My thoughts on the Note 5 after nearly three weeks of use:

- Too big

- Missing Windows Phone, android is annoying in many ways.

+ God screen

+ Stylus/pen (even though I find myself not using it)

Nearly two weeks after buying the above mentioned phone, Microsoft Thailand announced the arrival of the Lumia 950.

Missing Windows on the phone, I rushed to IT City (in Phuket) on the 22. Jan to get hold of a Lumia 950 (not XL). They did not have it in stock, but could order one. So I did, with the Continuum dock. 1 000 THB deposit.

Waiting to get a call from IT City when my phone arrives (one week was indicated ). Then the Note 5 will be retired....

Just to follow up:

Got a phone call from IT City (Central, Phuket) on Saturday 31. Jan, that my phone had arrived.

Went in the day after and bought the phone. Got the phone and the continuum dock.

Happily I went home and started my new Lumia 950. Got an option to restore from my Lumia 920, which I did. After some loading (took some time), I was all up and running, with all my settings in place. Exchange, outlook mail etc, without me doing anything. (some apps had to be set up again or use username and password to log in to the account) Had to approve the user agreement on a lot of the apps on first time use. And there was a firmware update as well.

So I am now happily back in the Windows Mobile environment.

Regarding reviews of the phone, I will not do that, since there is lots of it out on the internet. Both positive and negative reviews.

On a side note: I asked if many people had ordered Lumia 950 in the shop where I bought mine. And the answer was that I was the only one.....
