I could not determine if you mean HIV?

HIV tests can be made at thousands of places in Thailand.

Sorry I think maybe I have made a typo error,my last partner was named Dennis and the last time we were together was about six months ago in the desert. We were very close at the time, but he had to leave and go on an emergency assighnment, since then I have had no contact with him.At present I am in Bangkok but awaiting on another deployment. Thanks for your concern.

I assume you meant HIV?

In any case, both for that or any other sexually transmitted infection I suggest you go to either:

1. The Thai red Cross Anonymous Clinic http://en.trcarc.org/?page_id=632 open every Monday through Saturday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 Pm (4 PM on Saturdays)

2. The Silom Community Clinic

12th Floor, Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Ratchawithi Rd., Ratchathewi, BKK 10400
Working Hours: Tue to Saturday/4 PM – 9 PM
The second one is specifically for gay men but the first one also treats many gay clients, you will get good care and expert counselling at either place though I am not sure how much English speaking at the Silom Clinic.

Could be a health issue for long distance lorry drivers ?

Moved to the Health forum for knowledgeable answers.

Should be in the Motor Forum (or Pub).

the clinic that Sheryl mentioned at the Thai Red Cross is the place to go.

They will do a blood test and inform you a few hours later, then you can see a doctor and get medication dependant on the

levels in your CD4, if they do not give you the medicines there is a place under BIG C near Saphan Kwai, the doctor there will sell you the tablets, if you can convince him that starting earlier will be more beneficial to you. Is the clinic as you go down the stairs on the right hand side.

Good luck.

Here the contact details for the Doctor under Big C, (he will not do a blood test)

DR. Kiat at Allergy Care Clinic TEL. 02-6167121-2

Open Mon - Fri 05.00 pm. - 08.00 pm.
Sat 09.30 am. - 12.00 and 05.00 pm. - 08.00 pm.
Sun 09.30 am. - 12.00

MOT and a change of oil and you'll be as right as rain in no time.
