What Is An Acceptable Gift?

Firstly thank you for all your posts.

Okay, I have decided to bring mixed hamper for the management team to share, I thought I would include assorted Chocolates, Tim Tams (one pack of every flavor) and Fruit (apples & grapes?) all made or grown in Australia.

Any other suggestions to include?

My question now is will I have a problem bringing these items into Thailand especially the fruit?

I know it's not Australia! But when I get back from London- bring souvenir stuff- key rings with Big Ben or similar - things that are simply not available here- Charbonnel & Walker chocs- beautiful packaging and made for the Queen- that always goes done well.

So think about things that are typically Australian. If they have kids- kangaroo stuffed toys ( no not toys stuffed with kangaroos ) .

Money give at Christmas or Songkran - it's too impersonal- you need to make your staff think you have spent a bit of time looking for gifts.

Fresh fruit could be a problem.

Is it forbidden to bring fruit into Thailand (like Australia)?

Boomerangs.

Good idea, you can give the same ones again every year!
