Helmet Saves Life in Lucky Escape on Pattaya-Rayong Bypass
It happened, took the gf out for another ride, long story... She went out with her friends last night, called me at 6am, asked if I could pick her up. I got to her location, behind Marine, she comes over and drags me into a bar, lots of people sitting at tables drinking alcohol, smoking kisha etc, it didn't matter, I was with my gf, I was enjoying having a 6am beer, she is beautiful and I was very proud to be with her. Anyway, It was a beautiful morning, leaving the bar we rode beach road. Sexy , young beautiful chick on the back, it was still quite early didn't think the cops would be out (Soi 9), they were there. I got a fine, so I walked over to the police station, paid the fine, came back and the cop told me that I had a good lady, that she loves me...cops know everything 😂. Apparently the cop told my gf that most foreigners would yell and scream at the girl because of not wearing a helmet but I took it on the chin paid the fine and did not react. Ffs, a petty 500 baht fine and foreigners go spastic because of the fine. Sometimes I feel sorry for the Thai cops putting up with the stupid foreigners. -

Law to tax overseas income seems unlikely for 2025
I will submit an official HMRC document stating the total tax which I pay in the UK. Whether this amount is fully allowed against Thai tax remains to be seen I only bring in to Thailand about 60% of my UK net income. I will refuse to specify my total gross UK income. Maybe this is the basis for a future argument-time will tell. -

Could that be because this thread is about Kasikorn? FYI, in the last 6 months I have opened or changed accounts with ALL major banks in Thailand, and with EVERY one of those banks I had to sign the papers that are now emailed by Kasikorn. And as I already posted earlier, Kasikoprn call center told me that if you opened an account AFTER April 2023, you would not receive the email, because you would have signed those documents already at the time you opened the account -
