Seems like our italk card is not in service now. We need to do an online purchase for a phone card to call Thailand from US at best rates.

Please offer some suggestions on any good deals available.

I think Skype is a good option I used to do phone cards also.

Phone cards are not used so much now. Other options, Skype at internet cafe, Skype app on mobile phone, Line, various types of messenger services that offer voice. All internet cafe have these services.

Whoever it is you are calling in Thailand, get them a 3G data account which will allow the use of messenger apps. It will end up costing you less than phone cards which are indeed, getting scarce. Free calling to almost anywhere in the world is the reason they are getting scarce.

Didn't know phone cards were being out dated but by Skype why not, it's free as I think back on it - and better.

It is only free if you are calling another Skype member otherwise their web site lists the cost for calling to Thailand, either per call or on one of their calling plans
