Heavy duty sewing job in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hi

The canvas of my backpack broke slightly. I look for a strong sewing job of the canvas.

There are many cobblers in the streets. But I would prefer to leave the pack in a shop. There are many straps and buckles that are difficult to remove and if I leave it with a workshop in the street there is a risk details of the pack can be lost.

Is there any more reputable sewing shop in Chiang Mai that you would recommend.

Thanks

There is a shop located in the motorcycle parking area at Kad Suan Kaew. He does shoes belts etc.

Mr Bag Fix on the north bound lane of the 108. Just before getting to the Baan and Beyond entrance. (maybe a little before that even....)

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try.

I don't get the details of the description, but I think it is across from Tesco Lotus on Hang Dong rd? Can't find it on Google Street view though.

I got their C.M. phone, so it should be OK.

It's at least one km, probably more. If you are going from town, go to the u turn past Tesco and drive very slowly in the inside lane. It's really close to the turn.

Be the change that you wish to see in the world.

Thanks guys. Mr Bag Fix is exactly the kind of shop I was looking for. More expensive than the street cobblers of course, but hopefully no bad surprises.

Mr Bag Fix wanted B.400 for a rift in a tricky spot of my backpack. 2 days service.

(I usually use the street stalls, just not this time. The ones under the footbridge across from McCormick hospital do good work and are friendly.)
