Samui ocean Sports out of the Beach Comber Hotel in Chaweng teach on Hobby Cats. They maybe could arrange something bigger also.

End of October , monsoon and big waves , could be more of a crash course than you bargin for

They can probably point you in the right direction for sailing lessons.
