Cheap guest house/hotel in Phitsanulok

Featured Replies

Hello people, hoping someone can help, I'm going to Phitsanulok for 2-3 days later this month and am looking for somewhere cheap & cheerful to stay for a night or two, preferably with or near a bar & for 500 Baht or less per night.

I would have put this in a local forum but couldn't work out which one would cover it, thanks in advance...

For years I have stayed at the Lithai. It is old but very well kept.Same family owns the 3 new hotels near Big C. the Rattana and cannot remember the other 2 names. the Lithai is their first one. It is near the night market which has small pubs all along the river. Center of town. Can walk from train station in 5 minutes. The Lithai has a good steak restaurant and a coffee shop out front with good coffee. They have their own bakery and do good pastries.

Thanks lovelomsak, sounds good, is it within my budget?

Yes with in your budget. Single bed rooms with air and hot water tv last time I was there was under 500 baht.Very central. All the owners children are US educated and they run the place..So run a real good place, high standards.

There is a place right next door to Central that's 350 per night, a/c / hot water and TV.

There's a couple of places to get a beer out front but nothing fancy.
