Where to recycle empty cooking gas containers?

Featured Replies

I have 2 older empty gas containers, standard fitting,

but the local gas shop in doi saket refused to give me back the deposit I paid

when I bought it several years ago.

any idea where to sell them?

thks

What's the expiration date on the containers? Maybe that's why he wouldn't buy back. May be expired. It'll be in Thai. You can just check for the year, i.e. 2555, 2556, 2557, etc.

Give them to the garbage people. They will be happy.

It's the same story with 18 liters water bottles.

You buy them; but the companies never want to buy them back.

Is there any brand-independent place in Chiang Mai where the Picnic gas bottles can be refilled?

I've seen the small LPG station at the Airport Plaza intersection do it, so maybe any LPG station can do it!.

Our gas supplier, Airport Gas, accepts World Gas tanks. I wasn't even aware that World Gas had gone under.
