Huawei Ascend G300 - Add Thai Language Possible?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I have just returned from a trip to the UK and my mum gave me her old smartphone which is a Huawei Ascend G300.

It's a lovely little phone and I would like to give it to my wife's sister however it doesn't have Thai language as an option for the device :-(

I think the operating system is Android if that makes any odds?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get Thai language added to the phone? I plan on asking at a phone shop but I won't have time to do that for another week or so, so I was wondering if it's doable by myself?

Thanks for any tips regarding this :-)

If not a native choice (usually due to region originally sold), try More Locale 2 (or any of the other local/location apps) from Google Play Store.

Thai language may actually be 'baked into the ROM' but not readily selectable - to make the more regional language choices easier to find and choose.

Hi Richcor,

Thanks a lot for the reply :-)

That more locale 2 software looks like it may just work, I'll give it a try!

Cheers! :-D

Try installing cyanogenmod if that didn't work.

Or ask one of the "change language" experts in the nearest Tukcom or other mobile phone centers?

It's a business division in this country tongue.png
