Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the various visa application specialists in Pattaya and Bangkok.

I need to apply for my wife's settlement visa to the UK and have already tried applying for it ourselves once, and it was refused due to lack of documents needed for the dreaded financial requirements. So this time we are thinking of paying the expense and using a specialist. The ones we are looking at are:

Key Visa - Pattaya

Easy Visa - Pattaya

Siam Legal - Bangkok

I have already made some enquiries with immigration lawyers here in the UK and they charge double the cost of the specialists in Thailand. I have also heard that although the lawyers in the UK are good, they hit problems due to logistics and end up contacting the specialists in Thailand. So is is better to go direct and do it with the specialists in Thailand?

Any advice on this and the specialists will be most appreciated.

Thanks.

I personally wouldn't recommend any of the options you have mentioned.

Most people are able to manage their own applications but if you really don't feel able to circumnavigate the financial requirements for a Settlement Visa, which in certain circumstances can be quite daunting, then there's only one agent I would recommend and that's Thai Visa Express based in Pattaya.

I don't recommend them simply because they sponsor this forum but because they have a very good reputation and a good track record.

I'm also aware that they are only the only agent in Pattaya registered with the OISC in UK, the office of the Immigration Commissioner, and whilst that's not a legal requirement in Thailand as it is in the UK, they have to maintain certain standards to qualify.
