In the UK the Royal Mail has set postal charges for letters, large letters, small and large packages which are all defined by size and weight and you can calculate the cost before you go to the post office (please see attached file.)

Is there a similar system with the postal service in Thailand for internal post and for postage to other countries?

Many thanks wai.gif

trouble is they do not show the sizes of their all in one boxes, just state they are 3 different sizes. The new site is really bad, cant understand why they removed the old one, at least it was a bit more user friendly, new one is a shocker, you cannot even find out the sizes of any of their boxes etc as there is no link to them , just a link to the pdf reader, typical.

The website has got slightly better since the last time I looked, but It would be really useful if the dimensions were stated of the different packets, letters and parcels etc.

Yes as usual the English content is just a fraction of the Thai content.

Sizes and prices of the boxes in Thai but easy to understand (six different sizes, dimensions in cm):

but what are the sizes of the EMS world boxes, there are 3 of them but they do not state the sizes of them anywhere on the site, only these regular boxes. Knowing the price is useless if you dont know what size they are.
