Hi, can anyone tell me if they have used the Boss Visa Services Agency in Pattaya for a tourist visa to Australia or anywhere else? They have requested 30000 baht for services. Is this too much? Thanks.

I've never heard of this company that seem to run a visa service, as well as selling air tickets, hotel bookings, travel insurance and, amongst other services, a range of legal services, so I'm really unable to give an honest opinion of their expertise in respect of processing visa applications.

What I would say that if I ever felt I needed to use an agent, and as the previous poster says the procedure is relatively simple, as well as seeking advice from others, I might be reading the grammar and spelling on a company's website before I trusted them with an application, and 30,000 Baht.

It will take you about the same amount of time as it will to gather paperwork and speak with an agent. Basically they will fill out the app and make an appointment for you. Something you can do at your leisure.

Before using an agent I recommend you do three things:

  1. Read the pinned topic Visa agents.
  2. If possible, get a personal recommendation from someone you know, which you are sort of doing here. Don't rely on testimonials on a company's website; the unscrupulous companies make them up.
  3. Shop around.

I have never heard of this company, so cannot comment on them.

But if you are looking for an agent in Pattaya, I recommend Thai Visa Express.

Not because they sponsor this forum, but becaue I know both Paul and Tony and know them to be honest, competent and reliable.
