i will return to thailand in about 2 weeks and plan to bring some pc hardware with (new and complete to build a pc worth around 2.5k $)

is there a way to avoid possible taxing or is it inevitable ?

Go through the nothing to declare line....wont be stopped

take out the components and dump the "brand new " packaging

there is no tax to bring back items that you brought with you on holiday
