Went to a big lake this morning fishing. Tons of fish. Bloke I was with using old stale cake etc to make like a dough but dried out very quickly and came apart. Im going to make a sticky pastry dough for next time. They seem to be predominantly those big silver catfish things.

Any thing I can add to the dough to make more attractive. I've heard garlic ok.

They're freshwater fish so I'm guessing mashing up sardines etc not suitable.
