Went to a big lake this morning fishing. Tons of fish. Bloke I was with using old stale cake etc to make like a dough but dried out very quickly and came apart. Im going to make a sticky pastry dough for next time. They seem to be predominantly those big silver catfish things.

Any thing I can add to the dough to make more attractive. I've heard garlic ok.

They're freshwater fish so I'm guessing mashing up sardines etc not suitable.

Go to the local tackle shop and get some multi rig feaders and the bread ground bait mix and you won't go far wrong
