Calprotectin test - ulcerative colitis

Featured Replies

I'm moving from central Mexico to Khon Kaen at the end of March. Here prior to needing a colonoscopy we are lucky to have free Calproctin tests. The tests are sponsored by Abbott Labs through a local lab. Pick up at test kit from my Gastroenterologist. Take it home/call the lab to schedule a pick up at my house then wait 21 days or so for the results. If they are within an acceptable range then no collonoscopy needed. Anything like this in Thailand?

Any info on where such test can be performed in Bangkok, or Pattaya?

I don't think a gastroentorologist is really needed, it's just a lab test.

I'm sure some of the forum members have to do it from time to time.
