Satellite Tv In Pattaya

Featured Replies

Was in TukCom today and saw a shop advertising a moveable dish satellite TV system called ( i think) Sun Channel. Seemed very cheap - anyone got any experience of it?

Alternatively, anyone recommend a moveable dish system?

I have and I recommend Dynasat,

http://www.dynasat.com/

I got very

Tired of paying the exorbanate prices of somewhere around 20,000 baht per year to UBC

I had my dealer here in Sa Kaeo come out to my house to install a Dynasat move. The man had to call the people from Bangkok (Dynasat) to come to my home to help him with the install. The system now works perfectly. As I recall I spent around 20,000 baht for everything. I now get most of the same channels as UBC , :o from the Philippines.

The trouble with these systems is that all the good channels are encrypted

and you will need some kind of pirated card to view them.

You will need at least a 1m dish, 1.5m is better on Ku band to ensure viewing

in all weather conditions.

On C-band 2.5m is the best, (as in photo in post above).

You also need a good location for the dish with a clear view from East horizon to West horizon.
