transfers from Don Mueang to Suvarnabhumi and back

Featured Replies

Have looked up the old posts but they are a year old(or older), need to find out how long it takes to get from Don Mueang to Suvarnabhumi at around 4.30 in the afternoon(on a monday) and then from Suvarnabhumi back to Don Mueang at around 9.30 in the morning(on a wednesday), if its 1 hour to an 1.5 hours I know which flights to book, also the best way to do it, either the courtesy bus or by taxi. Last years posts dont really help with this, again any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks guys, seen the time table but want to find out how long it takes between the airports, I have inbound/outbound flights from both

Every time I have used the shuttle bus it has taken about 1 hour. That's in both directions. Last time was in December. It's not a very comfortable bus but it runs on time and of course is free.

I've tried the free shuttle bus in both directions, and can confirm it took 42 minutes once (guess it was a good day!) and under an hour the other times... I recommend it.

Monday late afternoon is busiest traffic on most roads streets. Up to 90 minutes may be typical. Wednesday mid-morning typically 45-60 mins.
