Podiatrist in Phuket?

I know this topic was brought up a while ago but did anything positive come out of the enquiry? I can't locate the thread.

Have serious ingown toenail problem that needs attention.

The local GP surgeries won't do it and BKK-HKT hospital does not have a podiatrist.

Thanks

I had some minor surgery performed on my toes at Bangkok Phuket Hospital by some one described as a Doctor-surgeon.

His charges were very high however, way above other doctors normal consultation fees. Although I'm sure you could get the problem attended to there, you may want to keep looking elsewhere for a cheaper solution..

I'd suggest trying Mission Hospital.

they won't have a podiatrist either (there are very few in the whole country), but they'll have general surgeons and will cost a lot less than Bkk Hosp.

Might as well check for any recommendations from Phuket International Hospital or BKK Hospital Phuket. It's the most reputable private hospital in Phuket. Or go for a consultation and ask the doctor handling you for a good podiatrist.

hi , just to share my experience. I just had surgery today in a small clinic at rawai. called andaman health care. Surgeon with 30 years of experience , had injection then he removed side part of nail , he then asked me if i wanted laser surgery to burn the bed of the nail . just on the side not the whole thing. He told me this way it will never grow back to ingrown nail again. I said yes and he did it.

Very nice guy , professional. I paid 4 000 baths total for everything.
