Hi

I’m 25 years old and in April 2015 I had sex without a condom. I do not know what was in my head…

A day after, my vaginal opening became very swollen,(I could barely see the hole) and a thick white discharge like a liquid cheese was coming out. other symptoms that I had…
Itching and irritation in the vagina and the tissues in the vulva. Feel burning when urinating and pain during sex intercourse. .

About smell…I do not want to remember…very very unpleasant smell.

I went to the gyno and got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich, bacterial vaginosis, and yeast infection. Everything came back negative and the doctor said my symptoms would go away on it's own.

My symptoms did not go away, so in August 2015 I went to another gyno recommended by a friend of mine who had same issue and I got tested again for all stds, including HIV. Everything came back negative except for yeast infection.

The gyno seeing the new set of tests told me to start treatment with Cervugid Ovules - 3 courses. I did a research about this treatment and it is recommended by a lot of doctors from Europe for various sexually transmitted diseases. After i finished all 3 courses ( each cours – 12 ovules for 12 nights) I went back to the same gyno and she tested me for yeast again and it came Negative so I have been cured from this disease.

Since then I swore to use condom every time…

Maybe you should visit another gynae to get 2nd opinion?

If it's really yeast infection, you may want to try soaking in sea salt + water solution for 15 mins. Once or twice daily.

And try to ventilate your private part- wear skirt instead of pants. Loose fitting panty as well.

Get well soon!

Yeah.... Condoms are generally a good idea in 2016......take it as a learning experience and be glad you didn't contracts a disease. However, HIV takes 90 days to show up on a test. So you should get tested again in a few months.

The OP's well past 90 days at this point.

OP, did they rule out bacterial vaginosis?

Yeah, and she was only tested again in August 2015. So I should have been more clear..... HIV generally takes a minimum of 3 months to show up.... Sometimes longer. That means she was right around the 90+ day mark when she was tested again. I for one would definitely get tested again to make sure......

Why this is posted to a Thai forum seems to be another question - poster makes no reference to Thailand and apparently is talking about Europe.
