Can anyone recommend a OK hotel somewhere around Bang Na or nearer the airport. haven't been in that area for many years.

A hotel that has free transfer from the airport would be good.

You may want to indicate a maximum price. Places that are anywhere close to the airport are very expensive,

Look at Booking dot com - I've just booked a room plus breakfast and travel both ways from the airport for just over 1000 Baht, mind I did go for the delux room.

Nasa Vegas is not on the BTS line - its on the Airport Link City Line. But a good option if arriving/departing in the hours of operation for the ARL

Since they built the walkway between Ramkanheng Station and Nasa Vegas its even better - used to be a pain in the arse crossing the road before that
