Good day everyone , arriving in Thailand in June 2003 and as yet am unsure of "safe" places to stay . Any recommendations? More than likely going to be based in Phuyket

    Do you mean hotel, bungalows or what. Phuket in general is very safe. Try to avoid Patong Beach if you want peace and quiet. And be careful on the roads!

    Medias cover of "terrorist threats", if you maybe mean that, is simply not true.
