Any supercheap, any supermarket, most hardware shops ... not difficult to find ..

Thank you. If we are talking about the same thing you are a better shopper than I. I need the fine steel wool to lightly sand finished wood, not pot scrubber. (may try scotchbrite if no luck with steel wool). So far have looked at one small supercheap and Thai Watsadu and hoping to shorten the search.

^^^Something like a 00 or 0000? Maybe one of the stand alone paint supply shops like ICI or TOA.

I'm assuming you've got a small furniture finish repair job to do. If you can't find 00 or 0000 steel wool, you might try lightly wet-sanding with 400 or 600 wet/dry sandpaper, which you should be able to find at places like HomePro.

An alternative would be Scotch-Brite Pads (3M). They are commonly used in lieu of steel wool, because they don't leave any metal residue which could have an affect on color. They are usually red or green in color for wood work, if my memory is correct.

Can't miss it. Lots of wood outside for sale.
