On the odd day I need Line to communicate with some colleagues (I can't understand why they chose this crappy abomination, but nothing I can do about it - it's out of my hands and I just have to go with the flow). However, I have opened Line on my mobile, and now I can't open it on my PC. I tried to close it on my mobile, but there seems to be no way to do that. Meanwhile, when I try to open Line on my PC, I get a message saying I need to verify who I am by entering a code on my mobile - except that apart from one time, no message appears on my mobile in which to enter the code.

Does anyone know how to get around this? Trying to write complicated messages on my mobile is giving me a headache and causing eye strain.

i have line on my iPhone iPad mac and windows ps....they always run on iPhone iPad and only 1 pc at a time...

When you log into line on your pc it will ask for an identification code that will get sent to your phone, type it into the required area in line on your pc and your off.

Line allows you to have it on multiple computers but only on one at a time, it will log you out of one if you using it on the other, email and password is all thats required to get back in.

Like i said i have it on always on my phone iPad and the pc I'm using...thats 3 ON's

Using the same account on multiple devices

The same LINE account cannot be used on multiple smartphones. Each phone number and email address can only be used on one device. If you verify on another device using the same phone number, the account on your previous device will be deleted automatically and you will no longer be able to access it.
You can use the same account you use on your smartphone on your PC or iPad by logging in with your email address on the respective versions for PC and iPad.

Thanks for your help, guys. I'm already familiar with what you have written, but appreciate your help. I tried to find a way to turn off Line on my smartphone, but couldn't, so I've simply uninstalled it. No great loss - it's a pain to use, even on the PC.
