Using paypal, authorize.net or a local bank

Featured Replies

The company I work for is a limited Thai company. The company is VAT registered and it has a current account and a savings account with SCB bank. We need to be able to 1) Sell items online and accept credit card payments. 2) We need to be able to submit a credit card charge using a virtual terminal with the card holder not present. 3) We need to be able to accept donations. For simplicity these three processes should be from the same provider.

Our company has set up the website using a woocommerce plugin. So far, everything is ok. However, I have been looking for ways for our potential customers to pay, and I started by looking at paypal. After signing the company up and trying the system I got an error from paypal saying that we could only send funds, and that we could not receive funds. So totally pointless for a business, and a complete waste of time.

Since then I've been looking at authorize.net. Has anyone had any experiences with this company, either positive or negative. Does authorize.net work for Thai companies? Can I invoice people in Thai Baht, and can authorize.net transfer the settled funds into our Thai bank account in Baht?

Alternatively, does anyone have a better idea?
