French Bar and Restaurant Owner wanted back in France, arrested by Immigration Police.

A story now that we received just in time to feature on today’s show. These still pictures come from the Immigration Office in Soi 5 off of Jomtien Beach Road and detail the arrest of a French National wanted back in France.

In conjunction with the French Embassy and acting on an arrest warrant issued by the French Court’s immigration officers arrested Mr. Daniel Virasanee aged 57 at his house at the Suksabai Villas in Central Pattaya. He is also the owner of the Paris Restaurant and Beer Bar in Central Pattaya.

According to the court papers he is wanted on charges of producing fake Credit Cards and charges relating to counterfeit Trademarks, fraud and a charge which translates as criminal association. He is now in the hands of the French Embassy who will deport him back to France to answer the charges brought against him.
