I have a multiple entry non-b and work permit expires November 2016.

My current stamp expires on the 2nd so will be exiting to Malaysia. Probably over sadou or Padang bazaar

My question is do I need to stay over night? Or can a u-turn still be performed.

I've really no interest in staying the night in Malaysia if I don't have to.

What do you mean stay overnight? You have a meeting on the 3rd early in the morning at company HQ.

Yea they can be really troublesome had problems myself last time asked loads of questions wanted to see my work permit, questioned why I left Thailand for new year.

Might just go to Padang they seem friendlier

The more important it is for you to return immediately, the higher the likely tea money. Avoid Sadao.

I'm gonna go to Padang.

They gave me proper hassle last time because the van driver didn't submit somthing.

Like that's anything to do with me.

The woman got all militant demanding my work permit questioning me on my school etc.
