Hello, first post here. Quite a nice little find. Anyway, I thought this would be a good place to get answers to my questions.

First off, am I eligible for dual nationality? I am 20 years of age, I currently reside in the UK and I am Thai through my mother.

Secondly, am I eligible for Thai national service? If I successfully get a Thai passport, will they ask me to do national service (I hope so! )? What it 'may' hinge on is my level of fluency (or lack of). I am currently learning it (again - long story), I was hoping this experience would allow me to serve my country and improve my fluency at the same time.

Talk to the military attache at the Royal Thai Embassy in London. You can get first hand advice there, and you can start the citizenship process at the Embassy as well.
