Ed visa learning thai, one day a week?

Featured Replies

Hi do any schools teach thai for 8 hours a day but only one day a week? Is 8 hours a week the minimun needed to get an ed visa? I am only available one day a week.

Kanchanaburi or bangkok ideally.

Thanks

No im just 3 hours from bangkok and would prefer not to do that commute more than once a week

You might get a visa but to get a 90 day extension at immigration you would need a minimum of 8 hours a week and from everything I have seen that is a 2 hours a day 4 days a week requirement.

Thanks. Do online courses exist where you dont need to attend class?

There may be but they would not qualify for an Ed visa.

Attendance at class is a requirement of immigration.

Strange idea, but why not look for another language school to go to?

I cannot imagine that the closest school is 3 hours away and is in BKK.

Send me a private message and I will explain in detail.
