Yesterday december 19th 2016

 

Decided to go to Talee Bua Deng in Udon Thani province - 121 km - all photos with Olympus TG 860

 

I'm on rd 22 in the direction of Udon Thani

 

 

Arriving ban Han_Noi, the sugar cane mill works !

 

I'm at the lights on rd 22 in Nong Han; I will turn left in a few seconds

 

I'm on rd 2350 in the direction of Kumphawaphi , Khon Kaen

 

 

Safety first, as usual; have a look at the man in the back of the truck...

 

Ten kilometers later, turn right on rd 1071; u cannot miss Talee Bua Deng, it's written so often ..

Parking lot obligatory for all vehicles except 2 wheels ; 10 baht and nearly empty ;

it's a new one in concrete , better than what we had before.

And a big house for public toilets; didn't saw if we have to pay for ..

 

 

 

So disappointed..No red flowers .. maybe " thank u Monsanto/Bayer " ?

 

Coming back home ; did 62 km for seeing nothing ...

 

A wreck, it's here since more than 5 years ; some thai people are rich !

A MTBike balade with some thai friends

 

 

We are in Sawang Daen Din where cars from Laos pass often; here a nice new Mercedes

 

 

And beautiful trucks

 

We went to a new Wat still under construction on rd  about 2 km before arriving in Song Dao coming from Sawang;

This Toyota Fortuner has a nice plate : KK 111 ( 11 111 ) , it was given by the communauty to the abbott of the Wat

 

 

The Royal Thai Army is working in the Wat ; the man on the right is an officer and also a very good friend

 

 

Surprise, surprise,..What we can see in a thai Wat ; yes it's for an helicopter ...

We went to Dontan in Mukdahan province for two days .

Coming back home, we stopped for half an hour at the huge Big Bouddha , a few kilometers before arriving Mukdahan, coming from Dontan, rd 2034
