Plutojames88
In a few years the military Government might even be telling Thais westerners are responsible for the suns heat Given few Thais even know that stars are "" other "" suns and our one is 150,000 kilometres away ( 93 million miles ) or indeed what's occurring or why? Thailand suffers from a rare smugness of the delusion that its clever and doesn't need to know "" farang "" stuff

Baerboxer
At around 12.16 a.m. on April 26, 2016, the sun will be perpendicular to Bangkok This phenomenon is normal since Thailand is located in a tropical zone. At around 12:16am the sun will be somewhere in Mexico. The phenomenon is normal since Thailand is located still on earth. It's a daily occurrence. "The phenomenon is normal since Thailand is located still on earth." Sometimes I wonder........ If beings from another planet, galaxy, universe, ever visited earth in the past, as the Ancient Aliens presenters on the History Channel claim, I think we could guess where they settled. Jonmarleesco
NARIT: Sun is perpendicular to Thailand during April and May How could they let this happen? The good PM will chime in on this soon. Mudcrab
This is great news for those poor, scared, little expats who are terrified of everything in Thailand including their own shadow. They will be out in force - albeit briefly --before scurrying back inside to their PC's to post on TV forum on how bad Thailand is.

gk10002000
The sun will be perpendicular to Bangkok at 12:16 a.m.?? Again, number seem to be a problem... Technically this could be correct if considering the sun earth angle and just ignore the fact that Thailand at that moment would be another 180 degrees around in the earth's rotation. There is a right angle in there, kind of!
