balo Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I live in Pattaya and will try one of the Sriracha hospitals for my yearly check-up (to save some money) , and I also have a sciatic nerve problem (from back injury) that maybe I need to have a look at. Which of the hospitals in Sriracha can be recommended , with enough doctors, speciaists to threat most problems ? Thanks. Also when I try to access their website : http://www.phyathai-sriracha.com/, it's not working here.
Sheryl Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I think the two are about the same in terms of range of specialists etc. Phyathai is usually the less expensive of the two. It currently has a special price promotion for basic check up that is only about 1,500 baht inclusive of all basic lab work, which is a good price. For any inqueries about Phyathai you can email Gavin Wadell, a farang working in their marketing department [email protected]. He is very helpful. However for your back problem I strongly suggest going to Bangkok to see a spine specialist/ Dr. Wicharn at the BNH Spine center (also at Bangkok Chrstian Hospital once a week) is excellent.
balo Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Thanks Sheryl I will contact Gavin tomorrow. Yes I might try Bangkok if my conditon does not improve.

They have a permanent but changing monthly promo for check-ups which I use every year. I find it's a question of just waiting until the promo items match what I want, which usually happens about twice a year. I generally end up with all the usual blood/urine tests, ECG, full abdomen ultrasound and PSA for around 4500B. This compares well with the cost of the ultrasound alone at PIH: 4000B.
